A UK trade and innovation day staged in Vienna by the British Embassy under the banner "Commercialising quantum | Creating the quantum future together". Five thematic blocks run 09:00-18:00 (doors 08:30): The UK Quantum Ecosystem — understanding the quantum opportunity and growth potential; Quantum Powered Solutions — innovative UK companies presenting use cases to transform key sectors; Quantum Applications in Industry — how businesses are leveraging quantum for real-world impact; Quantum Policy & Governance — building pan-European policy frameworks; and From Research to Market — turning quantum innovation into business value. Attendance is by registration only; expressions of interest go to the embassy's Department for Business and Trade team with name, company and position.
The FFG's first Quantum Ideation Days gathers researchers, companies and quantum experts at weXelerate on Praterstraße for two days, with one goal: turn early-stage quantum technology into concrete industrial use cases. Teams work on site along three technology tracks — quantum computing, quantum sensing and quantum communication. Companies, SMEs and research groups can enter a real problem as a "Challenge Owner" and develop it with an interdisciplinary team from first idea into a worked-out concept, with applications closing 31 August. It is the in-person culmination of the FFG's Quantum Reality Check series,, and the programme is held in German.
