We are happy to announce the **September 2026** edition of the AWS User Group in Düsseldorf. Please note our **new location**!!! ########################## Agenda ########################## 17:30 Uhr \| Arrival of guest 17:50 Uhr \| Welcome 18:00 Uhr \| Presentation by Frank Spiess: "AI Agent Harness: the Good\, the Risky\, and the Scalable" 19:30 Uhr \| Networking\, pizza & cold drinks ########################## Details about the presentation ######################### What makes an AI agent tick? Behind every capable agent sits a "harness": the orchestration layer that drives the agent loop, calls the model, picks and runs tools, passes results back, manages context and memory, and keeps the model on track toward a goal. In his talk, Frank demystifies the agent harness by comparing how this Concept shows up in three very different places: first, AWS Kiro, second, the Hermes Agent - two ready-to-use AI agents that each ship with their own harness. And third, the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore harness, a managed harness from AWS that turns the harness components into a running, production-grade agent, with compute, memory, identity, networking, and observability handled for you. ########################## Speaker: ########################## Frank Spiess: Senior Technical Trainer at Amazon Web Services with a passion for GenAI. My current focus is Agentic AI: understanding how AI agents work under the hood and helping builders put them into practice. I love sharing what I learn with the community. ########################## Venue: ########################## conet Deutschland GmbH Erkrather Straße 224a 40233 Düsseldorf ########################## Travel Indication: ########################## Parking: Parkhaus Schwanenhöfe **Parking is free when validated by host** \- Super important as there is a fine if license plate has not been validated\!\!\!
