Oxidize 2026
Oxidize is the conference for companies and developers using Rust professionally, held at Tagungswerk in Berlin across three days: one workshop day followed by two days of talks. The workshop day covers safety-critical development with Ferrocene, making Rust and C++ get along, integrating Rust into existing embedded C applications, and embedded Rust with batteries included. The talk programme is drawn from teams shipping Rust in production — Volvo Cars on its next-generation EV battery, Quantum Systems on unmanned systems, plus Vector, JetBrains and Woven by Toyota — alongside sessions on bare-metal ESP32, Embassy, shipping native libraries, vendor drivers and high-assurance projects. Panels cover the Rust job market and the practicalities of executing safety-critical work in Rust.
