Brains on Silicon is a two-day B2B conference for applied AI at the ICD Dresden, built around the theme "closing the implementation gap" — less about what AI could do than about how it actually lands in products, processes and industrial systems. The 2026 programme is organised into seven pillars: agentic workflows, human + AI partnership, sovereign AI, silicon on AI (neuromorphic chips, photonics and semiconductor architectures out of Dresden), physical AI, learning with AI, and concrete use cases. Beyond the stage programme it runs an expo, two parallel masterclass tracks led by industry practitioners, a startup area with pitches and prizes, and an evening party. Announced speakers include leads from Anthropic, OpenAI, STACKIT and Deloitte.

Dresden Deeptech Connect - August Edition

Dresden Deep Tech Connect is a new meetup for exchange around potential deep-tech startups. The aim is to increase the number of new ventures in Dresden by helping co-founders connect at an early stage and enabling existing startups to find new team members. The evening will focus on networking, exchanging ideas, and meeting like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere.
