At the same time, Basel is home to a thriving life sciences ecosystem. From startups to global leaders like Roche and Novartis, innovators are advancing new approaches to drug discovery, diagnostics and patient care. At the same time, AI is gaining momentum across Switzerland with nearly 1/3 of Swiss startup funding rounds in 2025 involved AI-focused companies. Our mission at LSTN is to connect and support the people and organizations building the future health at the convergence of life sciences x technology. Through curated speed networking and expert-led roundtables, we’re bringing them into the same room to share challenges, break down silos and explore collaborations that will accelerate advance health. Join us! Agenda: 18:00 - 18:15: Welcome & Check-in Our team of volunteers will check you in, provide you with a name tag, and show you to your seats. Grab a soft drink or some water. No food included or alcohol included. 18:15 - 18:30: Intros Intro from your co-hosts, LSTN and Visium 18:30 - 19:15: Speed Networking Time for speed networking! You have about 5-6 minutes per rotation to learn more about each other. Read our Speed Networking Best Practices guide here. 19:15 - 19:30: Break Take a quick break before our Roundtables 19:30 - 20:30: Roundtables (depending on your ticket type) Following speed networking, small groups (up to 10 people) will dive into key industry challenges, trends, and opportunities to unlock. 20:30 - 21:00: Open Networking Relax and chat with the others. Our Speed Networking: Our format helps you make valuable business connections through a series of rapid 1-on-1 conversations. Each 5 to 6 minute rotation gives you the chance to introduce yourself and learn about fellow professionals from across the life sciences tech space. It’s a time-efficient, friendly, and effective way to meet like-minded professionals and entrepreneurs from Berlin’s growing life sciences community. Our Roundtables: Following speed networking, small groups of 8-10 people will dive into key challenges, trends, and opportunities. Whether you're an expert or just starting out, this is your chance to share insights, learn from others, and build meaningful connections.
