A one-hour introduction to hackathons run by the Blockchain Student Association - EPFL (BSA) as part of Students 4 Students, the free pre-semester preparation week that AGEPoly's S4S commission puts on for incoming EPFL bachelor and CMS students. It is a drop-in question-and-answer primer rather than a coding session: no agenda is published, and the only instruction on the organiser's poster is "Come ask all your questions!". This is the second of two BSA slots in this year's S4S programme, following an Intro to Blockchain workshop on 31 August in room CE12. BSA, founded in 2018 and officially recognised by EPFL in 2021, describes itself as the first blockchain student association in Switzerland and runs 36-hour hackathons on campus, so the session doubles as an on-ramp to its own events. Attendance is free and registration goes through the association's own event calendar.
