Founders' Agreements and IP: What Early-Stage Teams Should Know

by ETH AI Center

At the ETH AI Center, much of our work is about helping researchers and students turn AI ideas into companies. Some of the most important decisions on that path come early: how you split shares with co-founders, or how you keep control of your startup as you grow. That's why we're hosting this session with our partner Wenger Vieli, one of Switzerland's leading startup law firms. Claudia Keller and

Effective Altruism Bern: Is there a storm coming?

by EA Bern

Effective Altruism Bern Social & Discussion 📍 Where: Rose Garden ⏰ When: 18:00 – 20:00 Say you're hiking in the Alps, and spot dark, scary clouds in the distance, slowly approaching you. What do you do? Presumably, you'd turn back and get away from it as fast as you can. Yet, when it comes to advanced AI, most of us seem to react very different, if at all. The chance that AI is the big dark cloud

GenAI Engineers #0001

by GenAI Engineers

GenAI Engineers is a new hands-on format, an evening for practitioners who build with generative AI, not only talk about it. Every edition follows the same shape: one sharp keynote, a real Q&A, then a working block where you actually build something. This first edition is hosted at DARE Campus, one of Zurich's leading hubs for deep tech, AI, robotics and applied research. Doors open at 18:00 with tea and coffee, the keynote and Q&A run from 18:30, the hands-on session starts at 19:00, and open networking with snacks and drinks follows at 20:00 before a 21:00 close. The hands-on session has no workshop script and no fixed track: open your laptop and work on something real, whether that is a prototype you have not had a quiet evening for, an agent that keeps misbehaving, an eval you cannot get to pass, or a paper you want to reimplement. Nobody has to present anything. It is aimed at engineers, ML and data practitioners, technical founders and researchers who build and ship generative AI in production. Places are limited and every registration is reviewed.

Shipping Code with AI Agents: What People Are Actually Using

by ETH AI Center

Coding agents have moved fast, and most of us are figuring them out as we go. Some things work well, some quietly create problems that only show up weeks later. A few short talks, then open discussion. The focus is practical: How to ship agentic code efficiently, what the pipelines around it look like, which tools hold up in practice, and what we can learn from each other. Who it is for: founders,

Zug Tech Circle - Agentic Security & IAM Readiness

by Christine Szczepanski

AI agents are already working inside your company. Who gave them the keys? Are you a business leader, founder, or AI/IT lead whose teams are experimenting with AI agents and copilots and want to know who is actually accountable when software starts acting in your company's name? AI agents are the fastest-growing "workforce" in every organization. Almost none of them went through anything like HR:

Make AI sound like you in 90 minutes

by Claudia Kramer

You use AI to save time. The draft comes back smooth and correct, but not quite yours, so you rewrite it and the time you saved is gone. In ninety minutes you build your own voice profile: a short document that teaches Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini how you write. The next first draft sounds like you, so you are editing rather than starting over. Bring a laptop, an AI tool you already use, and a few e
