Hosted by Nebius, Balderton Capital, NVIDIA September 17, 2026 · Zurich Robotics is moving out of the lab and into the real world. Join Nebius, Balderton and NVIDIA in Zurich for Momentum, an evening bringing together the founders, researchers, engineers, investors, and industry leaders building the next generation of robotics and embodied AI. Zurich sits at the heart of one of Europe’s most excit

A global competition bringing together top university and corporate teams to compete in complex humanoid robot challenges, including dexterity, locomotion, and human-robot interaction tasks.

The RoX Health team is inviting you in Zürich for an interactive, high-signal evening exploring how agentic AI and frontier models are reshaping both ends of the healthcare value chain—from lab-in-the-loop drug discovery to health data analytics and research. Expect live interaction, technical debates, and hands-on workflow breakdowns alongside fellow builders in the space! What We Will Cover Next

Robot learning in Zurich is scattered. Academia, big tech, and startups are all pushing the field forward, but rarely in the same room. If Zurich is going to lead in robotics globally, the people building it need to talk to each other. This is a space for exactly that. We mix 10-minute presentations from researchers in the local community presenting their own work and participants presenting recen

An open evening at DARE Campus, The JED in Zurich-Schlieren, where robotics and applied AI are shown up close through live demos, short founder insights and informal exchange. Part of the Zurich AI Festival 2026, it brings researchers, founders, companies, students and the wider public together.

Physical AI is leaving the lab - what does it take to make it work in the real world? “AI Meets Reality – Testing the Future of Autonomous Systems” explores the journey from prototype to deployment, highlighting the critical role of testing, validation and collaboration in bringing safe and trustworthy autonomous systems into everyday life. Hosted by LINA, a joint initiative of ZHAW, UZH, ZHdK and

LEXR unpacks what it actually takes to bring a robot to market in Europe — CE marking, the new Machinery Regulation, AI Act compliance, and cross-border market access. A sharp, practitioner-led session for any hardware or robotics founder navigating EU regulatory terrain.

A one-day Physical AI hackathon on a robotics campus in Zurich: twelve hours, two tracks, real hardware in the building. Eighty builders get one day at DARE Campus in Schlieren to make something that perceives its environment, decides what to do and does it, then demo it live to the people who do this for a living. DARE is a deep tech and robotics campus, not a conference room. Tethys Robotics builds underwater inspection drones there and FORGIS runs AI agents on factory equipment; their engineers are the mentors and the judges, and the maker space is down the hall. Two tracks run in parallel: Hardware puts teams on real robots, sensors and actuators, while Simulation needs nothing but a laptop and is judged on exactly the same rubric. Doors and check-in at 09:00, opening and team formation at 09:45, build from 10:30, tools down at 16:30, four-minute live demos and judging from 17:00, winners and drinks at 19:30. Teams are two to four people and most participants arrive alone. Free to attend, part of Swiss AI Weeks.

**Build something that moves.** A one-day Physical AI hackathon on a robotics campus in Zurich. Twelve hours, two tracks, real hardware in the building. Perceive, decide, act, then show it working.

'Gradient Descending' is a series of roundtables on AI: curated deep dives with technical builders. Past roundtables discussions covered RL Environments, Evals, Fine-Tuning, Agent Frameworks, Open Source Models, and Knowledge Graphs with companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, Cursor, Scale AI and many more. For this one, we’re joined by Dmytro Yaroshenko (Applied AI Solutions) from Factory to talk abou

The Competence Centre for Sustainability Robotics opens its doors to showcase its Physical AI-powered robotic systems, including interactive displays of its award-winning builder drone and other cutting-edge technologies. +++ This event is part of the Zurich AI Festival, taking place from September 28 to October 3, 2026. Zurich AI Festival unites the minds building the future - visionary founders,
