vulnz.ch vulnz.ch is a technical gathering where Zurich-based software and AI defenders and hackers share mitigations they've built, bugs they've found, research they've done, projects they've worked on or tinkered with, and papers they've read. v0.5 There won't be a speaker this time. Instead, we'll have a guided exploration of the following two resources: "Sifting the Noise: A Comparative Study of LLM Agents in Vulnerability False Positive Filtering": Filtering false-positive vulnerability alerts through iterative codebase exploration. NVIDIA's SkillSpector: Evaluating agent skills for malicious behaviour and installation risks. We'll work through a series of questions, giving you a chance to validate your understanding and hear how others interpreted the same resources. Preparation Please take an hour beforehand to familiarise yourself with the paper and repository. Attendance The event is for anyone hunting bugs or building software and AI defences. This list isn't exhaustive, but please join us if you work in or have hobby projects related to: Application Security Software Security AI Security Agentic Security Penetration Testing DevSecOps Vulnerability Research Reverse Engineering Bug Bounty Hunting. Logistics The fifth edition of vulnz.ch will take place on Monday, August 31st. Doors open at 18:00, the guided session begins at 18:15, and the evening wraps up with an open discussion.
