We’re excited to invite you to our next AWS User Group meetup on November 3rd, **starting at 6:00 PM**. As 2026 marks the 10 year anniversary of this community I am specifically glad that we are hosted by supratix and our founding member Tobias Göcke this time. We will focus on, what else, AI, with two AWSome topics. **Thomas Görz (AWS): The model is the easy part - One year with AI agents, and how I'm preparing for what's next** **Summary:** I'll share what worked, what failed confidently, and the habits that help me prepare for what comes next. Whether you are a developer, a consultant bringing AI into enterprises, or a student wondering what it takes to work in this world, one question I'd like to discuss with you: if AI does the routine work, how do we still build judgment? And, if time permits, user group co-organizer **Steffen Mazanek** will give another presentation: **What Makes a Good AI Landing Zone — and How to Build One on AWS** **Summary:** I will talk about typical requirements incl. model availability, governance, budget management, IAM and security, and popular open source tools such as LiteLLM and OpenWebUI, with Amazon Bedrock as the swiss army knife for model access. We are looking forward to celebrate 10 years of AWS community Dresden together with you and an engaging evening with great discussions and networking!
