Oxidize 2026

by Ferrous Systems & KDAB

Oxidize is the conference for companies and developers using Rust professionally, held at Tagungswerk in Berlin across three days: one workshop day followed by two days of talks. The workshop day covers safety-critical development with Ferrocene, making Rust and C++ get along, integrating Rust into existing embedded C applications, and embedded Rust with batteries included. The talk programme is drawn from teams shipping Rust in production — Volvo Cars on its next-generation EV battery, Quantum Systems on unmanned systems, plus Vector, JetBrains and Woven by Toyota — alongside sessions on bare-metal ESP32, Embassy, shipping native libraries, vendor drivers and high-assurance projects. Panels cover the Rust job market and the practicalities of executing safety-critical work in Rust.

Brains on Silicon

by CONFGAMES GmbH

Brains on Silicon is a two-day B2B conference for applied AI at the ICD Dresden, built around the theme "closing the implementation gap" — less about what AI could do than about how it actually lands in products, processes and industrial systems. The 2026 programme is organised into seven pillars: agentic workflows, human + AI partnership, sovereign AI, silicon on AI (neuromorphic chips, photonics and semiconductor architectures out of Dresden), physical AI, learning with AI, and concrete use cases. Beyond the stage programme it runs an expo, two parallel masterclass tracks led by industry practitioners, a startup area with pitches and prizes, and an evening party. Announced speakers include leads from Anthropic, OpenAI, STACKIT and Deloitte.

Xen Summit 2026

by Xen Project

Xen Summit is the annual gathering of the Xen Project community, and the 2026 edition runs for three days at the HEADS office in Aschheim, just east of Munich, hosted by Renesas. Two days of technical talks are followed by a third day given over entirely to design sessions, which are working sessions where contributors settle architecture, implementation plans and project direction face to face rather than sit through presentations. The published programme leans heavily on embedded and automotive virtualization, with talks on Xen on Renesas R-Car Gen5 silicon, mixed-criticality workloads, thermal management and the path toward safety certification, alongside a cloud and infrastructure track covering XCP-ng, XenServer nested virtualization and per-guest resource management. Other sessions cover Xen on RISC-V, Arm VHE-always hardware, formal methods, secure inter-domain communication over Argo, and compliance work against DO-178C and IEC 62443. The audience is Xen developers and maintainers, embedded and automotive engineers, cloud and infrastructure practitioners, researchers and students. The summit is hybrid, with standard in-person registration at $200 and a $20 rate for academics and for virtual attendance, plus a community social dinner on the evening of 16 September.

Autonomous Intelligence Forum #2

by Oliver Rößling

Digital Health Cocktail Hour

by Merantix Aicampus

What Does It Take to Fix Primary Care? Primary care is broken in remarkably similar ways across very different health systems, and most of the fixes on the table stay stuck at the level of point solutions and pilot purgatory. In this edition of the Digital Health Cocktail Hour we the bigger question directly: what would it actually take to fix primary care, globally, and why are the tools already

The Frontier Research Club is a curated forum for rigorous, technical discussion at the frontier of AI. We convene researchers from the frontier labs, Stanford, Berkeley, and the teams building in production to examine concrete work — papers, methods, and results — with a bias toward assumptions, evaluation methodology, failure modes, and what would count as convincing evidence. robotics & physical ai CLUB

by Shrouk Ehab

robotics & physical ai hamburg - bring your hardware (or just yourself) hamburg has world-class hardware people. accelerator instrumentation, maritime, aerospace, labs full of machines that move. what it doesn't have is a room where those people show up together on a Wednesday evening with the thing they've been building. so we're making one. low-key, no strict agenda beyond people meeting people.
