Agents in production — what's working, what's breaking, and what nobody's figured out yet. Hello, fellow MLOps Engineers and ML Enthusiasts, ready for a new meetup? We're announcing our next meetup event, in collaboration with Liquid Reply! NOTE: By attending our event, you're agreeing to the Linux Foundation Code of Conduct and accept these attendee guidelines. Agenda 18:30 - 18:55 - Drinks, food & networking 18:55 - 19:00 - Welcome 19:00 - 19:30 - Talk #1: Sovereign AI Platforms: Composable, Diverse, but Compatible? by Max Körbächer, Liquid Reply Europe wants AI sovereignty and the open source ecosystem is answering with a wave of building blocks: model serving stacks, gateways, routers, vector stores, agent runtimes and governance layers. The composability promises freedom from lock-in, but every new component adds another interface, another standard and another integration to maintain. So does "sovereign" end up meaning "fragmented"? What does a sovereign AI platform actually need? From my years of experience as platform engineer and the cloud native ecosystem, we will together explore where diversity strengthens resilience, where it quietly creates new silos and which open standards and interfaces (such as MCP, OpenTelemetry and Kubernetes-native APIs) can keep a composable stack compatible. Let’s build a practical reference architecture and a set of questions to ask before adding the next shiny component to their AI platform. 19:30 - 20:00 - Talk #2: Two and a half wolves by Svetozar Miučin, AWS Are you paying attention? Software engineering has changed. Agents are here in force. Everything is in flux. To be able to adapt in the long term, we must understand the foundations. This talk explores sentiment around agentic engineering, its practices, and sets up a framework for sustained success. About the speakers About the Agentic AI Foundation The Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF) is a community of people building agentic AI in the open, under the Linux Foundation, and exists to move the practice forward — through shared standards like MCP, AGENTS.md, Goose, agentgateway, etc. and honest, in-person exchange between the people actually shipping.
