Our community got a special invitation to DESY — join us! Dear friends, We're excited to invite you to our October community meetup at DESY, one of Germany's leading research centers for fundamental science 🤩 This time, we'll get a closer look at what happens behind the scenes at DESY and learn more about the research conducted there. 🔬 What to expect: We'll start with an introduction to DESY and its main research areas. Then, Svitozar Serkez, FEL physicist and co-developer of the OCELOT simulation workpackage, will share insights into his work and more than 10 years of experience at DESY. And, of course, we'll wrap up the evening with drinks, snacks, and networking with the Ukrainian Science & Tech Hamburg community. 📅 Date: 23 October 2026 🕔 Time: 17:00 📍 Location: DESY, Notkestraße 85, 22607 Hamburg-Altona 🌍 Language: English Please register here to join us.
