Cyber Valley Day 2026
Cyber Valley Day 2026 marks ten years of the Cyber Valley Innovation Campus, the AI research ecosystem in Baden-Württemberg, with a full day at the Cyber Valley building in Tübingen. The organisers say the day will shine a spotlight on the scientific backbone of the ecosystem while bringing together the people, ideas and organizations that make Cyber Valley what it is today. The main stage runs from welcome addresses by Cem Özdemir, Boris Palmer, Karla Pollmann, Simone Schwanitz and Florian Mayer, through keynotes by Manuela Veloso (Carnegie Mellon) and Alex Smola (Boson AI), Cyber Valley Voices talks by Bernhard Schölkopf, Matthias Bethge, Katherine J. Kuchenbecker, Steffen Staab, Tamim Asfour and Werner Kraus, and a panel discussion on how bold ideas move from research to impact. Alongside the stage programme there is an exhibition of cutting-edge research projects, a Start-up Basecamp where Cyber Valley start-ups showcase their work, and an investor speed dating session. The anniversary celebration is designed as a meeting point for the whole community, with time to network with guests from science, politics, industry and society, and the day ends with refreshments from a food truck food court.
