Students at the TUM School of Life Sciences who want to know which internships, theses or projects are currently on offer can come and browse them at the Markt der Möglichkeiten. Chairs, institutes and research groups from the school set up stands in the Zentrales Hörsaalgebäude (ZHG) on the Weihenstephan campus with concrete openings, so visitors can gather information, ask questions and make contacts with prospective supervisors face to face. The 2026 edition runs on Wednesday 21 October from 10:00 to 14:00. The organisers advise looking through the school's project database beforehand, which makes it easier to spot suitable topics and approach the right exhibitors. The fair is run by the School of Life Sciences through its Chair of Plant Systems Biology (Prof. Dr. Claus Schwechheimer); enquiries go to mdm@ls.tum.de.
