The muCCC Hackspace is run by Chaos Computer Club München e.V., the local Erfa-Kreis of the Chaos Computer Club for Munich and the surrounding area. The club opens up hardware and software to understand how they work and welcomes people interested in coding, electronics, laser cutting, 3D printing, textiles and more. Many of its events are open to non-members, some only to FLINTA people. A Public Tuesday with a tour takes place on the second Tuesday of each month.
Hack!Friday is the Chaos Computer Club München's recurring talk-and-workshop evening, held monthly on the third Friday (occasionally also on the first) and starting at the club's customary 19:42. The club describes the format as a reboot under the motto "Mehr Vorträge wagen!" — talks, workshops and lightning talks on the widest range of hacking-adjacent topics, where visitors present their own projects, recount their latest rabbit hole, or look for people to build something with. The edition on 16 October 2026 is a talk by Vox titled "We built a wheelchair out of scrap wood and spite", held in the Hauptraum of the club's hackspace. The club's wiki carries no abstract for this talk: the description column reads simply "tba". The evening is listed as public, and content coordination for the series runs through the orga team (ammoth, cameron, moira, whoami) via content@lists.muc.ccc.de.
