What does it really take to get funded and what happens after the money lands? Starting with the fundraising journey of an EPFL founder, we’ll unpack the key decisions, challenges and lessons behind raising capital. Together with investors, we’ll tackle fundamental questions and bust common fundraising myths: Are you ready to raise, and which investors are right for you? What makes investors commit, and what turns them away? How long does fundraising really take? What changes after the round closes, from investor expectations to founder responsibilities? We’ll then switch to “speed dating” roundtables: rotate between experts’ tables and ask the questions you’ve always wanted to ask. Meet the investors: Olivier Huez, investor & partner at VC Commit, Red River West Jonathan Sadoun, investment manager at Corporate Venture Capital, Swiss Post Frédéric Lauchenauer, president of Business Angels Switzerland Facilitated by Lorenzo Niola Lorenzo has managed nine startup accelerators across three continents and supports startups and emerging VC funds on fundraising, go-to-market strategy and investments.
