Geneva Loading… Bringing a Silicon Valley Perspective to the AI Summit 2027

In June 2027, Geneva hosts the AI Summit, following Bletchley Park, Seoul, Paris, and New Delhi. Substantive participation in that conversation takes fluency with the environments where frontier models are actually built, funded, and contested. Geneva Loading…, a collaboration between Swissnex in San Francisco and Mercator Foundation Switzerland, prepares twelve Swiss thought leaders to bring independent, grounded perspectives to the Summit. The program runs in three phases: a preparatory session in Switzerland, a week-long immersion in San Francisco in November 2026, and participation in Geneva in 2027. On 30 September in Zurich, as part of the Zurich AI Festival, we open the program publicly. On the agenda: an introduction to Geneva Loading… and the twelve selected participants; a guest from Silicon Valley (TBA) on how the questions look from there; and a panel (TBA) putting that view in direct conversation with Swiss perspectives on governance, accountability, and what Switzerland can realistically shape. The evening closes with networking. The event is open to the wider Swiss and international AI community.
