How do you identify the right first customers when your technology has applications across multiple industries? For robotics and deep tech startups, choosing where to focus is a key step in turning technical innovation into a viable business. This hands-on workshop helps researchers, founders, and early commercial leaders define their Ideal Customer Profile and identify a promising first market. Participants will explore how to compare customer segments, test assumptions with market and sales data, and use AI to identify signals that potential customers are ready to buy. Led by Vanessa Warncke (Vantastics), Jennifer Werthwein (Nebius), and Christian Woese (Limbi), the session combines practical guidance with work on participants’ own customer and commercial priorities, followed by networking drinks. The workshop is designed for technical founders, researchers, and early commercial leaders in robotics, autonomous systems, and deep tech. Places are limited, and registration is subject to approval.
