It is managed by a privately held foundation, and the property is owned by Swiss Life and Zürcher Kantonalbank. Around 260 high- and deeptech companies, service providers, research institutions and universities work there. Its event facilities hold 10 to 500 people, and it houses the AI Startup Center, which the Technopark Zurich Foundation operates.

The Zurich stop of the Hack Apertus series, 27–28 November 2026 at the AI Startup Center in Technopark. Teams build on Apertus, Switzerland's sovereign open LLM, solving partner challenges and producing open blueprints for sovereign infrastructure. Strong teams advance to the May 2027 Grand Finals.
