Was gleich geblieben ist? Wir sind zusammengekommen, haben zusammengedacht und h

Berlin Expert Days 2026 takes place on 23 and 24 September 2026 at the Henry Ford Building of FU Berlin. Every year, the Berlin Expert Days bring together people who want to exchange ideas about modern technologies. BED-Con 2026 lists four topic areas. Crafting Software covers programming languages, platforms and frameworks, software architecture, and cloud, DevOps, security and platform engineering. Data and AI covers data architectures and analytics, AI and ML fundamentals and AI ethics, AI and ML applications and architectures, AI and ML frameworks, tools, models and training, and software engineering with agents. Tech and Society covers work culture and diversity, social responsibility, ethics and social issues, and digital sovereignty and data protection. From the Trenches gathers experience reports and lessons learned, and reports about real-world failures are especially welcome. With its modern lecture halls, the Henry Ford Building on FU Berlin's Dahlem campus offers ideal conditions for BED-Con 2026. The conference is run by Berlin Expert Days e.V., founded in 2010 as an openly run, vendor-independent platform for exchanging knowledge and experience.

The T3 CTO Summit is a one-day event in Berlin for CTOs, VPs and Directors of Engineering, and other software engineering leaders. It takes place on 9 October 2026 at CityCube Berlin, during next.app devCon (7 to 9 October). Registration opens at 09:00. After an opening session with keynote speaker Lena Reinhard, a former VP Engineering and now a leadership and executive coach, the day runs three blocks of five parallel roundtables. Then come an open-spaces unconference, closing remarks and a drinks reception. The roundtable tracks are AI productivity beyond the hype, the CTO role in 2026/27, build vs buy vs fine-tune for the AI stack, fractional CTO work, and security and governance. The organiser lists 20 speakers and moderators, 15 roundtables and peer-level working groups, and more than 100 software engineering leaders. Attendance is intentionally limited to keep the conversations small.

The Software Architecture Summit is the German-language training event that Entwickler.de Akademie bills as "das große Trainingsevent für moderne Softwarearchitektur", aimed at software architects, senior developers and technical decision-makers. The 2026 Berlin edition runs 12–16 October at the Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin, with three workshop days followed by two-day deep-dive bootcamps. The programme is split across four tracks — Software Architecture, AI & Architecture, Beyond Architecture, and Modeling & Design — covering coding agents, harness engineering and GenAI-based documentation, contract-first design, Model Context Protocol, evaluations and observability, and agentic architectures. A second strand focuses on architecture that grows out of the domain: DDD, hexagonal structures and collaborative modelling, alongside pragmatic legacy modernisation via team habits and the "1% method" rather than a big-bang rewrite. Two bootcamps extend the week: "GenAI-basierte Lösungs-Architekturen", on context engineering and integrating GenAI into existing architectures in a secure, scalable and AI-Act-compliant way, and the "AI Engineering Bootcamp", on RAG, MCP and end-to-end MLOps pipelines for production-ready AI systems. The organisers advertise four training tracks, three workshop days, two bootcamps and more than 3,000 participants.

Published sessions range from model-driven Joomla development and cleaning up code on the way from Joomla 3 to Joomla 6, to SEO in an AI world, no-code automation and turning Joomla skills into a business, with keynotes from Joomla co-founder Brian Teeman and Elisa Foltyn. The event also carries dedicated exhibition space for sponsors, and the J!Awards 2026, Joomla's new Community Choice Awards across eight categories, will be presented in Potsdam. It opens with registration on Friday morning and closes with a reception on Sunday afternoon.
The Women in Tech EMEA Summit is FemTechConf's flagship conference: two days in Berlin for women and allies working in technology and business. It draws engineers, product managers, data and AI professionals, founders and executives from across Europe. The first day starts at midday and the second runs from morning to early evening, with talks, panels and networking breaks between sessions. Several sessions look at how AI is changing work and careers, among them a joint AWS and Zalando session on generative AI and the female data gap. Other talks turn to leadership, neuro-inclusive teams, accessible hiring and building a career without burnout. Speakers come from companies such as Google, Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and Miro, and Magdalena Skorupska of 42 Berlin is MC on both days. On the first evening, VIP ticket holders are invited to an afterparty hosted with AWS at Amazon's Berlin Tower. The summit takes place at smartvillage Berlin in Neukölln.
