DevFest Hamburg is a community organized conference that brings experts in Mobile, Web and Cloud technologies together in Hamburg for two days of sessions, workshops and showcases; the organisers sum it up as "driven by and for the community". The 2026 edition runs across 16 and 17 October at the Sparkassen Innovation Hub, Grüner Deich 15 in Hamburg. The event's own call for speakers describes it as a non-profit conference around Google technologies such as Android, Firebase, Flutter, GCP, Angular and Golang, aimed at developers, designers and project managers. It is a joint effort of four local communities: GDG Hamburg, GDG Hamburg Android, Social Developers Club and Flutter Hamburg.
The CONSUL DEMOCRACY Foundation, in collaboration with the Landeshauptstadt München, hosts ConsulCon 2026 in Munich from 15 to 17 September, after the 2025 edition in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The conference dives into digital democracy, open source technology and democratic empowerment, and connects an ever-developing community, inviting new members to exchange views and knowledge. It is for everyone interested in direct and participatory democratic models, digital platforms and open source technology. Expect demo runs, workshops on devising participation processes and empowering citizens in cities and regions in Europe, Latin America and Africa, sessions on open source technology and digital public goods, and keynotes about the democratic potential of it all. The programme runs in four tracks: practical deep dive, improving participation, open source and open gov, and an afternoon with AI, alongside a software developer special on contributing to the CONSUL codebase. Keynotes come from Roman Huber (Mehr Demokratie), Sophie Bloemen (Commons Network) and Joe Mathews (Democracy Local). Day one is at Flux Munich; days two and three are hosted by the city of Munich at Agnes-Pockels-Bogen 33. Tickets are donation-based.

SAP Inside Track Weinheim (#sitWHM) is a free, one-day community conference that brings together SAP developers, consultants, architects and anyone curious about the SAP ecosystem for technical deep-dives, live demos and honest lessons learned from the field, run by volunteers with no sales pitches. The 2026 edition runs 09:00-18:00 on Saturday 19 September in the Syntax Auditorium in Weinheim an der Bergstraße, with a single track covering local-first development with CAP Node.js, platform engineering on SAP BTP, CAP best practices and AI, bringing SAP AI and Microsoft AI together, a CAP app vs. Integration Suite comparison, GitHub and Cloud Integration, AI-assisted SAP development with MCP, and a closing talk on the long arc of enterprise engineering. Speakers include DJ Adams, Christian Lechner, Daniel Hutzel, Sebastian van Syckel and Morten Wittrock of SAP, Holger Bruchelt of Microsoft, Cedric Heisel of CIT Focus, independent consultant Marian Zeis, and Matthias Steiner of Syntax. Attendance is free and capped at 150 people, with lunch, coffee breaks and drinks covered by sponsors; the venue is wheelchair accessible and offers free on-site parking, five minutes' walk from Weinheim train station. A Friday programme precedes the conference: a hands-on SAP CodeJam on CAP CDS led by DJ Adams (18 September, 9:00-16:00, 25 seats, separate signup) and a casual pre-evening get-together from 19:00 at Woinheimer Brauerei. The event is onsite only - no recordings and no livestream.

Das Java Forum Nord ist die eintägige Community-Konferenz der Java User Groups aus dem Norden Deutschlands und findet 2026 zum ersten Mal in der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover (MHH) statt – nach sechs Ausgaben im Hannover Congress Centrum wechselt die Veranstaltung damit zum dritten Mal ihren Ort. Organisiert wird sie von Freiwilligen aus den Java User Groups Bremen, Ostfalen, Darmstadt, Deutschland und Paderborn sowie der SUG Deutschland; die Ticketpreise werden bewusst niedrig gehalten, damit die Teilnahme jedem möglich ist. Der Tag beginnt um 8:00 Uhr mit dem Einlass, um 9:00 Uhr folgt die Eröffnungskeynote, von 10:00 bis 16:00 Uhr laufen stündlich mehrere Vorträge parallel, um 17:00 Uhr schließt die Abschlusskeynote die Konferenz, und ab 18:00 Uhr ist voraussichtlich ein Social Event geplant. Die Keynotes halten Nora Schöner (Cloud-Architektin und AWS Hero) sowie Oliver Zeigermann. Das veröffentlichte Vortragsprogramm umfasst über 30 Beiträge und reicht von Java 26/27, Maven 4 und JVM-Troubleshooting über Architektur-Reviews, Testing und CI/CD bis zu Kafka, Graphdatenbanken und dem Umgang mit KI im Entwickleralltag. Das Detailprogramm mit der Aufteilung der Vorträge auf die Räume wird laut FAQ erst Mitte September festgelegt.
