Impact Innovation Day takes place on 17 September at Impact Hub Leipzig and brings together people from business, startups and civil society who want to actively shape the economy and society. The programme is built around three focus themes — wellbeing and motivation, entrepreneurship and organisation, and transformation and the future — with keynote impulses, interviews, workshops and member stages running in parallel across the Hub's spaces. Speakers include Olympic skeleton pilot Susanne Kreher, triathlete Andreas Niedrig, Michael Fritz of Viva con Agua, Gartz mayor Luca Piwodda and Max Rosch of Startnext, alongside workshops on crowdfunding, democratic participation and business succession. From 6 p.m. the event moves to the Egenberger Market Hall for an evening of food, drinks and conversation. Places are limited; tickets are sold via Eventbrite.

The Idea Camp is a free three-day workshop programme run by Growth Alliance, the AgriFood start-up initiative of the Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank and TechQuartier on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). It is aimed at people who have not yet founded a company and want to develop a new idea in agriculture and food, either alone or as a team. Across three intensive workshop days the programme covers start-up basics, sector input from experienced mentors from the agriculture and food industry, and individual pitch coaching. Teams then pitch their idea to an expert jury and take away feedback for their next steps. No prior knowledge of company formation or business-model development is needed; the camp is open to students, graduates and professionals from all disciplines, participation is free and the working language is German. The camp is held twice a year; this autumn 2026 edition runs 21-23 September and the application phase is already closed.
