Open Skills Consortium – Konstituierendes Forum Dresden
The constituent forum of the Open Skills Consortium is not a traditional conference but a joint working start. Companies, education providers, universities, chambers, recognition bodies, professional associations, labour market institutions, public-sector organisations and technology providers come together to establish the foundation for an open, trusted, global and machine-readable language for skills and qualifications. Participants bring their own use cases and help shape the objectives, governing bodies, working groups and first pilot projects. Areas of focus include a shared vocabulary for skills, qualifications, learning outcomes and role profiles; traceable criteria for quality, provenance and evidence; interoperability between existing systems and standards; recognition, certification and comparability; and sustainable models for governance, funding and long-term collaboration. The technical foundation is SupraGraph, a knowledge graph linking skills, occupations, qualifications, learning opportunities, digital credentials and labour market needs, developed over more than ten years of research and using modern AI technologies across a database of more than 458 TB.
